Pick #45 and next year's 1st Round pick to --

the Houston Texans for Deshaun Watson.

Watson >>> Sunshine

And the Jaguars still have Picks# 25 and #33 in this years draft to address other needs.

If you're Houston, do you take this trade?

IF you're Jacksonville, does this look fair to you?

Depends what you think of Lawrence if you’re jville. I’d you think he’s around what’s advertised or at least equal to deshaun you hold. Besides the loss in picks the cap numbers are way lopsided.

Honestly if the situation in Houston is really bad the interesting question is could jville get away with just the 1.1 and basically bail out the Texans and give them a potential franchise guy with a more appropriate timeline.

I dunno know about moving Watson to a division rival.

I'd think they'd move him to a NfC team before an AFC let alone to the Jags.

There isn't a snowball's chance in hell that they would trade him within the division.

I agree with you about the division rival but... not many teams have the draft capital or interesting picks to make the Texans jump....

Maybe the Jets.

They have picks #2 , #23 and #34.

No because of the division and what's going to stop Watson from pouting again a year or two later? Plus, the only reason Urban is coming here is to build his team around TLaw.

Absolutely.

Absolutely not.

Texans won’t trade him in division, hell they likely won’t trade him in conference unless they get a Godfather offer. The Bears, Saints, Redskins, and maybe Panthers could be suitors. If they do go with a AFC team it would be the Jets, Patriots, and Broncos in that order.

A generational prospect at QB on a rookie contract is football cheat code that you never pass up... ever.

Lawrence will make $37 million over 4 years. And you have him under control for a 5th year.

Watson will make $37 million in the 2022 season, then can opt out.

Watson is currently better and may always be better but you dont frick your cap space overall and pass potential good qb on a rookie deal.

And im not a Lawrence fan at all and stick by that

Thought the same. Deshaun would give Urban an elite QB still getting better. Trevor Lawrence is going to be a disappointment.

Um, no.

JAX would ask for next year's 1st, 2nd and probably 4th rounder on top of this year's 1st and 2nd.

No way in hell.
