Is Vikings era Randy Moss on a fly route the fastest player of all time?
I think that in a game, Randy Moss running a go route down the sideline for Daunte Culpepper and Randall Cunningham was the fastest player in NFL history. Nobody could keep up with those jets

Ron Brown is up there...

He won a gold medal running the second leg on the U.S. world record-breaking 4x100 Relay in the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.

He also placed fourth in the 100 Meter Dash at the same Olympics.

Also, why does it seem like no matter what year you go back to, the video looks shitty?

1975 - shitty
1995 - shitty
2005 - shitty

I swear to God highlights firmly in the 1080p HD "lifelike" era 5-8 years ago turn into grainy shite.

Moss smoked Deangelo Hall sometime around ‘05 on a fly route. Hall ran a 4.36 at the combine. Moss threw his hand up (meaning he’s gonna beat his man and wanted the ball) like right after he took a few steps. Moss was a different type of athlete. He had both sprinter speed and game speed.

Some of these guys, they put on pads and they move much slower. Moss was opposite.

Ya, Jerry Rice is the best statistical WR of all time.

But if you asked me who would I select if you told me that for that day, Randy GAF, I'd pick Randy.

I can't pick a guy who only played against 140lb white guys.

Completely understand, but if you look at the NFL record book when he retired and all the NFL records he still holds TO THIS DAY, he IS THE MOST DOMINANT NFL WIDE RECEIVER OF ALL-TIME, eras change how else can you measure someone's greatness? Hell, when Sterling Sharpe played he was probably as great if not better than Jerry Rice and he didn't have Joe Montana/Steve Young throwing him the ball, dude was a receiving MONSTER.

This argument starts to work when you get into the modern era.

It's totally worthless when a guy didn't have to play the better athletes who weren't allowed to play.

Not his fault but I can hold it against his accomplishments.

Football was akin to women's basketball back then. The depth of talent was shallow because the sport hadn't reached all levels of American interest. Someone like Hutson is like Lisa Leslie.
