Is Steve Bartman still a Cubs fan? Would you be?

I never heard anything about him or updates on his life after the Cubs won. I'm sure there was something, just never saw it.
Anyway, I always wondered if he grew to resent the Cubs because of the treatment of the fanbase towards him. It would be warranted for him to feel that way. With my LSU fandom being strongest, if LSU fans sent me enough death threats that I had to move and basically go into hiding, changing my life- I think I might feel inclined to stop rooting for them. On the other hand, you could keep rooting for your team with the added bonus that if they win it all, people will forget about their hate towards you.

Cubs ruined his life, he probably wishes Cleveland browns style purgatory on the team and it's fans

They should let him throw out the first pitch this Sunday.

He's still a Cubs fan
quote:
“Steve is cheering for the Cubs and continues to be a Cubs fan. He just wants everybody, moving forward, to respect his privacy and let his life continue to unfold as the grand plan has it. Unimpeded by things that … have been blown out of proportion,” said Frank Murtha, the family friend who has acted as Bartman’s agent, spokesman and gatekeeper these past 13 years.

He's probably still a Cubs fan. Probably not a human being fan anymore

He is and allegedly has gone to games in disguise.

He probably attends games like any ordinary person. This is the only image most people know of Bartman.
Remove that goofy arse attire and I think he could blend in fairly easily.

Exactly.
I said this same thing during the WS threads last fall. He's probably been to a bunch of Cubs games in the last decade or so but no one recognizes him because they don't really know what he looks like, and the only image they have of him is a guy with glasses wearing a Cubs hat, glasses, turtleneck and headphones.

Why would he have to wear a disguise? If he wasn't wearing a Cubs hat, glasses and headphones, no one would know what he looks like. Plus, that picture was taken 15 years ago.

I would not have taken the crap he took.... he was not the only one reaching for the ball and the Cubs blew it. Not him......

If he has gone to games since without some sort of disguise, he was taking a risk.
All it takes is one a-hole to recognize him and yell out "hey Bartman!" and he may have to leave.
But you're right people might not recognize him wearing something different.

Cubs fans are trash
They didnt deserve a world series
But as usual in baseball they bought their way to a championship

I'm going to repeat what I've said in threads before. You're by far and away the biggest douchebag on this website. No one likes you.
ETA: You're also a shite for brains retard and don't know what the hell you're talking about 99% of the time.

I hope he has a cheesy mustache or a Cartman-style evil goatee.

I think he got a lot of crap for being such a recluse and being so silent
I feel like if he had come out and plainly said that he did what everyone else was and that he was sorry and upset like everyone else, it could have been better.
Who knows though, there are some dickheads out there

Be great if he threw out first pitch at Wrigley this year
Posted on 3/29/17 at 7:26 am to Rakim
He should go to the mound like he's going to throw out the first pitch, pull his pants down and wipe has arse with the ball, toss it into the cubs fans, and walk out flying the double bird.

Why would he give Cubs' fans the satisfaction? They fricked with his life for no good reason. He shouldn't help them feel better about themselves.
