It wasn't that long ago he started the season looking like Tom Hanks from Philadelphia, then mysteriously took a two week break.

14% of men do not lose testosterone levels. One out of 7.

Yeah. I would like to see a source for that. That being said, even absent PED’s with advancements in fitness and nutrition, plus coaches (Tom Thibodeau aside), I would expect better performance in players’ 30s now.

Okay, this isn't true at all.

Dick Butkus played 8 years in Pro Ball.

Okay you say that's football.

Jerry West played 14 years in the NBA.

Bill Russell played 13 years.

Both basically retired at 35-36 years old.

Why are you laughing dipshite?

You think they want middle-aged men out there fighting? Even if they have more experience.

Look at the Vietnam draft, nobody wants grandpa at 38 years old.

Draftees were just past high school or college-aged kids.

Not some old factory worker from Detroit...who smokes two packs a day.

You can't even be older than 35 to join the Army ...that's the military telling you something about how useful you can be to them.

War like sports has no use for middle aged men unless they are taking PEDs or hormone replacements.

Throughout history its young men who die in wars.

Middle-aged men stayed home with their wives.

Like warriors athletes at 40 shouldn't be better than when they were 25. It's anti-physiology.

What, specifically, is surprising anyone about LeBron's performance this season?

That's actually not true at all, dude.

The ancient Greeks and Romans had a hell of a lot of folks in their 30s and 40s in their armies - probably as many as were in their 20s and late teens.

For frick's sake, everyone who has been in the American military knows that the toughest fitness standards are for men aged 27 - 31: ya know, the age when males hit their fitness peak. Lebron is still only 32 years old, quite close to the best physical condition he will ever be in through biology alone.

Yes, and they'll help you recover faster if you do get injured.
