Both won a natty with teams with NFL talent and the #1 overall pick at QB, but seem to fall apart when they leave and have to develop other players.

I’m never one to fire a coach but they looked bad.
I think it’s time to end the O era at LSU. Last night was inexcusable the way they looked.

I wouldn’t insult Chizik like that. Chizik at least knows his side of the ball fairly well.
Chizik just needed a heisman QB.
It took O five first round picks, the nfl offensive rookie of the year, and a heisman record breaking QB to win. And I’ll contend that he still almost blew the auburn game.
Plus by all accounts Chizik is a good man off the field. Ogre is a POS off the field.

It’s almost like hiring coaches that have never called plays at a major level to be your offensive and defensive coordinator was a bad idea.

I need to go find my post from when we gave O the contract extension after the NC. It was a horrible decision then by Scott and it looks even worse now.

Maybe, but I'd want to see how the season plays out.
After O, who do you hire? Who takes this job after LSU fired Les Miles (NC winner) and Orgeron (NC winner) while Saban is at Alabama?
