I’m sad because I think the below QBs are better college QBs than Bryce Young?
Tebow
Newton
Winston
Bradford
Griffin
Burrow
Manziel
Mayfield
Murray
And maybe Mariota
2008 Bradford in 14 games: 68% completion, 50 tds, 8 ints, 4720 yards, 9.8 ypa
2013 Winston in 14 games: 67% completion, 40 tds, 10 ints, 4057 yards, 10.6 ypa
2017 Mayfield in 14 games: 70% completion, 43 tds, 6 ints, 4627 yards, 11.5 ypa
2021 Young in 15 games: 67% completion, 47 tds, 7 ints, 4872 yards, 10.0 ypa
So Young's stats are virtually identical to these guys despite playing in a significantly tougher conference. And I'm pretty hesitant to say that his supporting cast was better than any of them. His pass blocking was shite and his run support was fair. Metchie and Williams are great wideouts but that doesnt mean shite if Bama cant pass block or run the ball

People that think that Young is overrated, or didn't deserve the Heisman are idiots, and shouldn't be acknowledged.

Young had 47 tds, 7 ints, 4900 yards, and a 67% completion percentage this year in the SEC. When did this stop being Heisman worthy?
When an Alabama player put up those numbers.

It feels like a down year, before the Auburn game Young was the favorite by default. That said Auburn and the SECCG he had legit Heisman moments and won it.
If you want to down grade a Bama Heisman winner it’s last year. Nothing really against Smith but it’s an asterisk year like a strike season MVP. 40% of P5 was out from the start only playing half a season and every one else either had someone miss time with covid or opt out.
How Young projects at the next level is irrelevant he deserved it

I mean, he didn't win the championship with all that talent. Unlike his predecessors. So I'd say yes, he's the worst Heisman QB since Troy Smith. Although Troy had a worse Championship performance.

Define “worst”?
Plays for Bama.
LSU fans are idiots.

This was probably the worst Bama roster since 2010 and both top WR were out in the CG, holding it against him is stupid

Heisman is such a shite award anymore. Never goes to the actual best player most years just who's the best player on the best team

Ok, lol. So what were they ready for then?

I mean, this is just a fricking ridiculous troll attempt.

I mean the dude was down two receivers who combined for over 2700 receiving yards and 23 tds. Even after they were down those guys he was still moving the ball up and down the field. His backup receivers did him no favors last night.

Marriota was a beast in college. He’s in the top half of heisman winning QBs this century. He’s better than any of the 4 Oklahoma QBs.

TBH, there wasn’t a really deserving player this year, imo.
He wasn’t even the best player on his team though. #31 was a fricking beast.
