Alabama / Clemson / Ohio State to win the national title or the field.

Have a manager I make ranadom bets with every year, and he proposed this one to me. I usually take the field on bets like these, but I'm not so sure on this one.

Bonus: He also offered either side of LSU win total o/u 7.5. My initial reaction says no way LSU wins 8+ games, but If Joe Burrow is at least decent, LSU could impress.

Both bets are straight up.

Hell I would see if he would give you odds on just Bama

Their schedule is a joke. Even if they drop one that keeps them out of the SECCG the committee will still put them in.

I haven't looked at the Vegas lines here, but depending on what he is offering you might want to take this bet.

Take the field with him, then go to an online book (or in-person) and put in bets on Bama, Clemson, and tOSU.

Would this include a potential bowl game?

Alabama, Ohio State, and Clemson. There isn't much competition.

Georgia is a contender. Oklahoma is replacing a Heisman winner at QB with a guy who will probably be playing to not get hurt. Penn State lost their best playmaker.

Who else is really a contender? Washington, Wisconsin, or Miami I guess. Those seem like long shots to me.
