first time in over decade Illinois has won their non conference slate. Next two weeks he gets his two old teams, Wisconsin & Iowa

I've got Iowa and Illinois in two weeks circled on the calendar. If Vegas sets the over/under at 2.5, take the under. Iowa wins 2-0 in 6 OT.

No one has come close to beating Minnesota. And to be honest, Illinois isn’t going to come close to beating them either and after seeing Minnesota blank Mich. St., the Gophers have a real chance of being in the Big 10 Champ. Game and a NY6 bowl.
10 wins minimum with that squad. Their toughest game will be at Penn St in two weeks. Even if they drop that game, there’s a real shot at being 11-1 going into the B1GCG.
They don’t have the horses to beat the big dogs, but this will sure look outstanding on paper for Fleck having Minnesota in the top 10 and the national media is going to be all over Row The Boat nuts. No competition yet, yada yada…but they’ve beaten the lack of competition handily like a good team is supposed to do.

The were definitely a dark horse going into the season. The gophers are loaded with super seniors.
The two games to circle for them are Penn State as you said and also Iowa. Iowa’s O may look hapless so far but the Hawks have won Floyd of Rosedale 7 years in a row now. They always seem to match up well against Minny’s O.

Minnesota is only giving up 6pts per game while averaging almost 46pts per game. Would be giving up 4.25 pts per game if Michigan State had not ha e scored with 17 seconds left in the game.
