If you’re looking for a good sports documentary to watch

I highly recommend “Senna”, produced by ESPN films. It is now back on Netflix. It chronicles the life and career of Formula One racing legend Ayrton Senna.
Even if you care nothing about motorsports, it is still a worthy documentary. Ayrton Senna is one of the most fascinating people in sports history. He was an absolutely ruthless, win at all costs racing driver but also a very tender-hearted person. This documentary is amazing because it doesn’t just focus on the racing aspect, but it looks at who he was as a person.
If you have time, watch it.

You should understand what monsters Formula One cars are to drive, particularly before 2000. Formula One drivers are 100% athletes. Go watch the documentary and watch when Senna wins in Brazil in 1991, when he drives a car that has lost multiple gears and is nearly impossible to control to victory. The man literally had full body cramps afterward because he has to push his body so hard in order to control the car.

Ayrton Senna was the greatest race car driver of all time.
In formula 1 racing, its hard to get an advantage and pass people. But when the track was wet, Senna was at his best. He was able to gun it, and slide, when other racers were slowing down.
Amazing to watch.
