If they can play baseball in 40 degree weather

Why can't they play basketball in a driving rain or snowstorm? Why can't they play tennis in the rain or snow? Why can't they play table tennis in winds of 40 mph?

Tennis in the rain = water soaked ball and it doesn't really bounce good.
