If the Jets get the #1 pick, do they give up on Darnold?

Should they draft a new qb? Or trade the pick and hope Darnold can be salvaged?

I think the Jets would go with Chase Young and give Darnold one more shot in 2020.

No they don’t. Why do you think Miami won earlier? They didn’t want to go down in history winless and they (Miami) knew the Jets wouldn’t draft a qb #1. It’s a win-win for the dolphins. Otherwise the fins would’ve yanked harder today

This is an outstanding year to have the #1 overall pick and look to trade it. Three legit #1 overall prospects (two of them being QBs).
They could trade it for a massive haul. Problem is that they're still the Jets, and will frick up every pick they get.
