how different would the landscape of college football be right now? the big 12 might have survived. less trash coming in the sec....who knows if we have the playoff..

Definitely would have changed the trajectories of some big programs. Do Miles and Richt get fired if Saban leaves bama early?

Miles doesn’t because he has at least 2-3 more SEC titles and another national title or 2

I don’t think UT would have anywhere near the same amount of success. A large reason Saban has been able to build what he has is because he has that entire program, from the boasters down to the concession stand stepping in the same direction

I don’t think the powers that be at UT could swallow their pride enough to let that happen

The problem with UT is the boosters having too much clout. Saban might be the only person to curb them but even he has limits.

I think he probably wins a Natty or too but ultimately leaves because he doesn’t have complete control. Where he goes after that though, I’m not sure, maybe back to LSU?

Unlike roddick, LSU has won major championships after 2003.
