In all fairness, if it were the inverse of this situation, I’m pretty sure Alabama fans would feel the same way. It is shitty, whether you like it or not, to go to a school associated with the university in your hometown and leave said town to go to a rival school. I dont really care that much about it, hope the kid has success and enjoys his time in Bama, but can we acknowledge that it’s shitty?

You're a moron.

We have had Nico Collins, Ross and probably Webb reject us and go out of state.

None of us wish these players harm, say they aren't allowed in the state anymore, etc.

You guys are psychos. Then you get happy when LSU signs 5-stars from Texas and Florida. Why don't you demand they stay in their state as well?

I love it. I’m sure you don’t follow recruiting and don’t know that LSU offered on offense. I don’t blame him cause I wouldn’t waste my career playing hback for Ed fricking Orgeron lmao

Be a Hback under Ed O and an archaic offense, or potentially get developed into a MLB for Bama. Tough decisions these kids have to make

The majority of Alabama fans do not look at it like this. It probably has to do with sharing the state with Auburn, but kids occasionally decide to leave the state. Wish them luck and on to the next one.

My dad is really ill and loopy due to the meds... I’m visiting with him and he has the game on. About the third time they named a recruit going to an out of state school he said “LSU needs to shut that fricking school down”. Speaks volumes that the OP and an old man under the influence have the same thought process.

So...should people in Natchitoches be pissed if a kid goes to LSMSA and then chooses not to take a scholly from NSU?

LOL

Agreed. This thread beats ANY thread about the paranoia of the “Louisiana” brand.

I equate it to the fan base making fun of A&M for its so called rival status. It's not a rivalry when one team is continually beating the other teams arse.

We aren't even close to beating Bama right now and A&M is knocking down the door for us

I hear you.

I definitely consider LSU a rival.

It feels like the Auburn game. All I think is, "good lord Alabama please don't lose this one."

I mean it’s true. You should be loyal to your state first and foremost. College football is basically life so if you life in BR and choose bama over LSU, you should be hanged.
