I've heard some people say I'm radio that they believe even if they beat Clemson Miami doesn't get in because of how bad their loss to pitt is. If that's the case why in the hell is Clemson in because their loss to cuse is even worse. Is it just a popularity contest at this point?

If they aren't then it's time to burn this system to the ground and start over

No. They don’t have have the fanbase to sell tickets and hotels. That is what it is really about, not who the best teams are.

Has been, always will be

Why does that combination of teams winning have any influence on Miami?

Those people are morons.

The ACC title game is basically a playoff game. Just like the SEC title game.

Pitt for them was a terrible loss at the worst possible time... That last spot might come down to them and Bama

Something they should have thought about when they cancelled against Arkansas State...

I think Miami SHOULD be in regardless of who wins the other games. If Miami wins, they knock Clemson out and the loser of AU-UGA gets knocked out. Only question is whether the committee would keep Bama ahead of Miami, which would be shitty IMO.

Best case for Miami is TCU and Ohio St to win. That way even if the committee keeps Bama ahead of Miami, then it would be the AU/UGA winner, Bama, and then Miami/tOSU/TCU for the final 2 spots.

There's a bigger chance the committee keeps Bama ranked ahead of Miami than there is of them having a pair of 2 loss teams get moved ahead of Miami.

Personally, I hope Clemson, Auburn, Oklahoma and Wisconsin all win this week just to ensure that Bama doesn't sneak into the top 4 somehow.

It will all depend on how the committee views a conference champion over a Bama team that didn't even make a conference title game.

For sure. Clemson would have an argument to still make it in too, but likely wouldn't happen.

No they won't. There's no way Clemson can lose to Miami and still have the committee rank them ahead of Bama having one extra loss.
