Yes, it may have been partially because of what happened to Durant but they are in a position to force a game 7, the player does not want to leave the floor and you force him off. If he had played any longer the injury could have worsened to a much more career-threatening stage.

is this where we are? being "proud" of a team protecting the long term health of a human being over winning a game?

Uh, he tore his ACL. Keeping him out with a torn ACL just means you have an IQ above room temperature.

Good to know.
Never did but had a few people tell me “yea I knew it”

I’d assume Klay knew it as soon as he got up though

He had a torn ACL

That can be determined by any doctor easily with a movement test on the knee.

Right?
No. Straight line movement and weight load is fine

Now when he tried to move side to side he would have been falling over and shite

The doctors can do a test on the knee to see if it's torn. They also have a test for the achilles that tells them if it's ruptured. The MRI is just to confirm what they already know.

It’s an acl man. Can’t risk worsening injury. This isn’t the same situation as KD

It was brave when the Celtics decided to rest Gordon Hayward the whole year after hurting his ankle.

He tore his ACL, he wasn't finishing that game regardless. What kind of idiotic take is this?

That's why Klay was fine when he jogged down the court and the hall towards the locker room.

The second he tried to plant on the knee while moving laterally, it would have been a very different story.
