If he was placing $1500 bets in November on Texas Tech I’m guessing he’s a serial gambler and hedged the bet.

More likely that he’s a wealthy tech alum, places the same bet every year and wipes his arse with $1500

Likely this. The Tech loyalty to their athletics is a lot stronger than most would think since they have never won shite, but lots of those baws have made big money in the O&G industry and throw that shite around like crazy.

Ehh, it’s relative. If the dude is worth $50mm, $100k either way probably doesn’t move the needle much.

No ESPN did a story on him anonymously. He places tons of futures bets, had a huge one on Wisconsin too. Guy probably loses his arse off and this one just happened to almost hit.
