Let’s say you had your choice to play any pro sport you wanted. Whichever sport you decided you would be the best at your position in the league. Which pro sport would you choose?

For me it only comes down to the major 4 of golf, football, baseball, and basketball. Football is no go because I wouldn’t want to have a beat up body when I retire. Baseball is just meh to me even though the contracts are huge. It would be between golf and basketball but I think I would have to go with golf since it’s kinda make your own schedule and can still make a shite load of money while also having a longer career.

Love football but Pro Football is the last thing I'd want to play.

It's golf.

Everything about that lifestyle is more attractive than any of the major sports.

I'd rather be walking Augusta than sitting in a dugout with a bunch of other dudes spitting and watching a boring baseball game.

I’d be the best race car driver for about 10 years... golf is okay but I want the cool factor

This is the easiest hypothetical ever for me. It’s golf, hands down and not even close. It’s not only the most fun, but also arguably the one that is least likely to inflict the kind of long-term harm on your body that you’ll be feeling into your 80s. And especially if we’re taking the OP’s assumption of being the best, you’ll be earning right up there on par with the wealthiest MLBers

Re basketball v golf. You know if you are a great basketball player you are a great athlete. Someone like tiger woods couldn’t even throw a football or shoot a free throw. That would be pretty pitiful.

I was thinking more like Tony Stewart who would race anything and won big in open wheel and NASCAR

800 million

His ex never sank a putt and she's worth 200 mill.
