It was one of the few times that the rant was united on something.

Plus with the rumors that Sean Payton wanted to draft him, many of us have thought highly of him for awhile. He's obviously exceeded expectations.

KC had the luxury of drafting him to sit knowing they were serviceable at QB with a Alex a Smith

Plus Andy Reid is a great offensive HC
Perfect spot for him to develop

They aren't similar players

Agree. Also, they aren't similar people. Mahomes seems like he's got his head on straight, listens to his coaches and respects his teammates.

RGMe was the exact opposite. He was a huge POS.

No doubt but I do think he would have succeeded in most systems

Mahomes has the best offense in football around him. Plus he sat a year. Too bad KC's defense plays like Texas Tech.

I mean Sean Payton was going to take him and Andy Reid moved up to grab him in front of Payton. That’s two of the better offensive minds in the league that were high on him.

He is in the perfect system for his skill set. Andy Reid coached favre who he compared him to.

If he went to 25 other teams he wouldn't be this good

No way he makes it past his rookie contract unless he learns to avoid contact. He's gonna die out there.

Kaepernick seemed unstoppable for a minute....slightly different play styles, but I think we need some more games before we anoint him as the second coming.

He (and the entire KC offense) is fun as hell to watch, though.

Well to be fair Andy Reid has a bit of a history getting the best out of qbs.

He was a great runner but doesn't have the same arm talent IMO

Mahomes has top 2-3 arm in the league and probably #1

The 2014 NFL draft is one of the least talented draft pools in any sport of all time IMO.
I think the 2013 NBA draft may have it beat. Anthony Bennett went #1 lol
