I was told that playing the season was going to put players at risk.

I’m not sure but Cuomo and many left wing folks on social media are calling for us to end these shutdowns. We finally flattened the curve Thank you Nancy Pelosi and all government members, that aid to Pakistan ended it

lmao its funny cause all of the soys on twitter are still clamoring how deadly Covid is. The politicians and media that exacerbated this virus are now trying to downplay their previous statements now that they are in power

No more than single digits even got sick beyond minor symptoms

Waiting on that follow up article from Dennis Dildo Dodd with the Illinois math professor that predicted multiple deaths.

I really wish we listened to the big 10 AD Warren and all the studies he listened to

Who actually made a point to be worried about players dying, instead of moreso being about players potentially spreading it to those with weaker immune systems.

Why would this be a concern? Perhaps people with weaker immune systems should quarantine themselves, rather than expecting healthy people to do it.
That is a moronic strategy.

Dan Woken is sad that no players died.

I mean I don't necessarily disagree. I'm just saying what the argument was.
Purposely misrepresenting someone else's point makes yourself look worse than the other person.

He walked it back 6 weeks after he said it

I guess somewhere there's an OL who is 1/3 dead

To be honest IMHO these athletes that are in these organizational protocols....that actually helps with prevention of spreading more than if they were not.
Let me explain my thoughts here... They are quickly identified if they have it because of the frequent testing and are able to quarantine right away and get quality medical care right away.
You think if these athletes in these protocols were not playing that they would be locked in their basements? I can almost certainly guarantee that would not be the case with the vast majority. Gatherings, parties...I know folks of that age, it happens A LOT. And in that circumstance, if they would contract the virus and be asymptomatic like most of these athletes have been, because they are not in these Covid protcols, most would not know they have it and be much more likely to spread it to the elderly and vulnerable.
It's really common sense and I'm not sure why it's so difficult for the media and the fear mongers to understand.
