Especially with NFL offenses becoming pass happy, I have no fricking clue.

I'm going to watch all the Vikings game films and find 10 instances where the refs fricked AP on the spot and send it to league officials.

If All Day doesn't break it in the next few seasons, it will probably never be broken. And if AP gets it, it will be one of the safest records ever.

He could break it at some point in his career, especially if their qb continues to suck

Yeah, I agree. Runningbacks have to share carries and it is more of a passing league now.

Honestly, I think this was the year to do it. Doubt AP gets as many carries next year. Have to remember he was off last year and fresher than normal this year.

It's hard to imagine that even he could do something this special again. We're all kind of still overlooking the fact that he just busted 2K because we're disappointed that he didn't break the record. It will be very hard to do this again, but I'm not gonna say he can't do it, because he's already forced me to never doubt his arse again.

I feel the exact same way. What he's done has been amazing.

Why? If he would have broken it today it would be by a few yards...

If not by Peterson in the next 2 years, then about 21 years...broken by Dickerson's son.

I just feel like he might actually put his mind to it next year and break it by a couple hundred yards

with more passing and RB by committee in the NFL, Dickerson will be in the class of Barry Bonds and Wilt Chamberlain soon
