Talking full on launching as far as he can, talking straight line distance. What do you think 50 yds?

Im more concerned that he has no zip on his passes and he’s missing easy intermediate throws.

He was regularly throwing it 35-40 yards in the air in TC this year according to multiple reporters.

Its clear he can't really do it in games anymore though.

why does that matter? the saints only ask him to throw it 4 yards at a time.

don't care. I'm just glad to see his arm go. Hopefully the saints slip back into mediocrity without him which is their rightful place in the football world.

This is the problem in my opinion. His arm isn’t enough to through it down field so the play calling focuses on the short crossing routes. If you don’t have to defend 20 yards down field, you can start to limit these catches.

Saints had their chance to get an under valued QB with a sketchy shoulder injury and didn’t take it this time around

Hate to tell you but velocity is what determines how far he can throw it so the 2 are directly related.

It's pretty telling that he's having to really step into 15 yard throws down the middle of the field, and it's not like arms just randomly warm up during the season.

I get your sarcasm, but teams with good to elite level safeties are just going to creep closer and closer to the line of scrimmage.
