Tonight was obvious. Lafyette is full of LSU. Plus, in a small.market, but not only was LSU playing, they televised the game.
I'm a football fan. I like to go to games and used to be a regular at UL home games when they have a decent squad and LSU isnt playing or is out of town. They just went theu a phase where it was hard to watch. Bad QB'ing and continually trying to play a certain way and not have the skilled players to accomplish.

Yes, they have a solid squad. Donit again next year and they will be back.

Another huge issue is that it's a temporary stepping stone for the coach if he is good. Before the egg bowl win by Miss St, I was told it was a done deal Napier was going to Miss St. Then they pulled out a win.
Players heard it and recruits see that too. Hard to sell stability that way

Myth. LSU isn’t Tulane.

I can't speak for everyone, but I indeed picked UL for undergrad due to affordability. Going to LSU law now

University treating Greeks like shite

It is a national trend thanks to personal injury lawyers.

TLDR: universities are being sued for the negligent injuries/deaths happening at fraternities. Greek life is now seen as a potential major liability for schools. They are trying to contain that risk by enacting policies governing bad behavior

You have very liberal people in power at ULL and they have trying to disband the Greek system for awhile now and are winning. It's only a matter of time before they get rid of Fraternity and Sorority row to make more student housing or some other BS. This is literally written out in the master renovation plan.

Small schools are taking the brunt of college football apathy

Cajuns are #3 in the Sun Belt with attendance that is half of what it was from 2011-2014. I’m not sure there is a fix. Cajuns are winning, have cheap concessions, sell booze: etc.

Attendance is down at most G5 schools. I'm not sure how to fix it.

It’s the Saturday after Thanksgiving, most students are likely at home and other people out of town or have relatives in town. I would imagine attendance is down for games this weekend were down everywhere.

It’s ULL. Most of those students live at home

Join a conference that would allow them to be nationally relevant. Schedule better home games.

Thread winner here. I've heard the tailgating has declined due to parking regulations or something too

Does the success of big brother LSU down the road have something to do with it?

LSU was #1 in the country during 2011 too. We had good attendance.

Drop down to FCS. That would put you among the top half of attendance if not one of the best in the country. Problem solved.

It has, they have pretty much killed tailgating between making the best spots that package setup BS and not allowing Greeks to tailgate on stadium grounds.
