I wonder if Matt Flynn wishes he was still holding that clipboard in Green Bay. I realize every qb wants to be a starter, but he had a great gig in Green Bay.

And I agree. But I wish he was on a better team though. I have always liked Flynn and feel he could do very well on the right team.

1 mediocre preseason = a bad QB? Lets ignore what he's done in games that count. The hate for Matt Flynn boggles the mind. All he's done when he's played in games that count is own. Anti-LSU bias is the only explanation other than ignorance.

Those stats are very misleading, if you actually watched the game.
Flynn was bad. Real bad. Saints called off the dogs and had some starters on the bench on that last drive.

If you go by the eye test Flynn never had a chance. He had multiple guys in his face before he could even drop back most of the time. And his stats were still very respectable. Flynn could throw for 6,000 yards and 60 TD/0 INT and half this board would still say he sucks.

Why draft Bridgewater when you have no one to block for him, no one notable for him to throw to and the only person who can carry the ball has no interest in playing more than 10 games a year.

This is his second chance. He blew his big chance when he got beat out in Seattle. That was a team ready to win. Oakland is a dumpster fire. Not too many QBs would look good with that team.

Pryor needs to play over Flynn. Both QBs suck, but Oaklands OL is so bad at least Pryor can run around a bit.
