Kimbo Slice I'm sure a lot of you have heard of him...backyard fighter moved on to MMA or some shite. But I think I heard awhile back he played football for Miami back in the day. But besides that I don't think any of us would survive this.

You'd be fine then, unless you're 130 pounds.

Look, I'm not trying to be a badass and be like "yeah I'd probably stiff arm everyone on the way to the endzone!" or anything like that. It would hurt, and you'd likely be sore the next day.

But ONE carry? Concussions, hospitalization? Geez people wtf. If you're a grown frickin man, wearing full pads mind you, taking ONE hit wouldn't hospitalize you unless it was dirty and to the head, assuming you aren't a fatass lazy couch potato. If you're moderately active and in shape, I don't see why one hit would do any real damage other than being sore.

And yes, I realize these are professional football players. They're huge, they're big, they're fast, and they tackle people for a living. I'm not saying it wouldn't hurt. It'd likely knock the wind out and you'd definitely feel it the next day. But c'mon man...it's ONE single tackle. You'd be fine.

Even if you're 130 lbs you'd be fine. Trindon Holliday doesn't weigh much more than that, despite what the media guide lists him at.

It probably wouldn't be too bad. Depends who is blocking for you.
Most people would probably be so much more nervous than they need to be, they would fall down as soon as they got touched by a single hand.
Where it would get scary would be if you were running some form of an off tackle play, allowing one of those linebackers or DB's to hit the shite out of you.

you'd get speared by one of the LBs and badly concussed. That's about it.

Also do they know it's vs a regular joe or do they think it's a real game? That makes a huge difference.

I was a decent HS football player who had to practice against a couple guys on our team who went on LSU and later played in the NFL. When we had to do a full speed game simulation scrimmage (thankfully not often) I would have to try to take on those guys, and it was ugly. If they really wanted to hit you, you knew it. One time I got laid out and when I opened my eyes, i couldn't see anything for a minute or two. I thought I might be dead. And these were just high schoolers, although high schoolers who had the ability to play at the highest level.

If an NFLer wanted to hit you, really hit you, he could hurt you. Probably not kill you unless he was trying to do it on purpose. But he could put you in the hospital for a day or two if he wanted to.

One carry? You'd be ok unless you tried to be Trent Richardson and take on a LB straight up. The chances of getting lit up on just one carry aren't that high. If you played high school football and did some angle tackling it probably wouldn't be the worst hit you've ever taken.

The chances of getting arm tackled >>>>>>> the chances of ending up in the hospital

I was competitive as a kid growing up, by my time in the Corps has put that on another level. Also have to stay in somewhat decent shape unlike the Navy.

It wouldn't be that bad. It would hurt and I'd have a headache for a few days, but that'd be all.
