Houston Texans are on a 9 game winning streak. Why does it seem like nobody cares?

That's an impressive winning streak. Am I wrong in thinking it just feels like no one really cares?

Also, how far do you think this team can go this year?

I care

Because Big Cat will cut off his pinky if they make the super bowl.

Maybe it's the teams they've beaten during the streak? Trying to remember who it's been and it seems like I can't remember a signature win.

I know its the NFL, and "any given Sunday" and all that fun stuff, but here are the 9 wins

6-6 Indy in OT
7-5 Dallas in OT
4-8 Buffalo
4-8 Jacksonville
6-6 Miami
6-6 Denver
6-5 Washington
6-6 Tennessee
4-7 Cleveland

People should. The NFL is a streaky league. If you’re playing great and healthy at the end, you can win it all. See the NY Giants two Super Bowl wins. It’s a long season. 15-1 and injured and struggling means less than 10-6 and healthy and playing great football.

People should take note of the Texans.

It's impressive, but I think it's because they still play in the AFC South (yet the AFC East doesn't have another winning record team either)

Chiefs are still rolling and the Pats always get attention.

IDK, but it's kind of neat how they are sneaky good. I hope they go far.

people don't believe in Watson yet?

Mahomes stole his "young gun" shine

These two were losing teams at the time too before they both went on little runs as well.

For the same reason nobody cares about UCF's winning streak. As shown above, they haven't exactly beaten the top teams in the league.

That being said, I am far more impressed with the Texans streak. Winning in the NFL is not easy, no matter who you play.

AFC is turning out better than expected...I could see any of the Pats, Chiefs, Chargers, Texans or the steelers making it out.

Chiefs get a downgrade without Hunt and a D that's just getting shredded...still Mahomes.

Steelers looked like they were going on a nice run until the last two weeks, tough to figure them out

It's gonna take a lot to pass the Chiefs and Patriots, and they lost the head to head to the Patriots.

It'll be like every other playoff year. They'll get the shitty early Saturday Wild Card spot, beat down a team that has no business being there, and then get their asses kicked on the road.

Texans vs. Saints in the Super Bowl is my dream match-up.

I’m a fan of both teams.

You obviously haven't been to an Academy inside Beltway 8 lately. Texans gear flying off the shelf faster than Astros gear during the World Series run.

If you meant, non Houston-ites, then yeah, nobody cares.

The schedule has been bad. They’ve looked good the last couple weeks though. Offense seems to be hitting it’s stride at the right time. Early on in this streak they were winning pretty ugly.

And I’d say the reason they aren’t being talked about more is because they started out the season 0-3 and were written off. They put together some wins but it was just a “meh” little win streak to get to an okay record of 5-3, and the wins didn’t even look great. It seemed like a fools gold streak.

Then they kept winnning, and looking better, and kind of snuck up to the top of the conference at 9-3 and people are just starting to realize it.

the competition has been underwhelming, however, they just keep winning.

would rather keep the focus on KC and NE, to be honest.

defense has been playing lights out

Justin Reid is the player his brother should have been.
