Good size, good athlete, was a very good college QB in two completely different offensive systems, and willing to go that extra mile to win (roids).

If I'm a team that needs a QB and I am drafting later in the 1st round (or maybe even early 2nd), I'm waiting on Grier and feeling like I got away with a steal and future solid NFL starter.

Someone argue with me.

Actually if I need a QB and I'm in the top 10, I'd trade my pick to a team drafting later in the 1st that wants to jump up, and take Grier later and use the extra picks from the trade on OL to protect him.

Love Grier within 40 yard throws. My wonder is what tools his arm has for throws past 40 yards.

Has a bad taste in tattoos, means bad imagination and lacks creativity.

He's terrible when pressured. That maybe something to do with WVU's offense line. But the dude needs an absolute clean pocket to make things happen.

He was pressured as a freshman at Florida and was fine.

That system back then made every QB look terrible besides him.

I think Lock is overrated, and no idea why Kyler would go 1, but Grier isn’t the best imo. I think it’s Haskins all day. I would rather Daniel Jones than Grier too. You could make an argument for Grier being above Lock, hell you could possibly make one for him being above Murray even.

I'm not talking about at UF. I'm talking about his two years at WVU. Specifically this last year. The dude has an excellent mid and deep ball. But his pocket awareness is awful.

IMO as far as Qbs go:
Haskins
Murray
Locke
Grier
Finley
Jones

I would hate to need a QB at #1 with the crop of QBs this year. I don't think any of them are all that impressive as an NFL prospect, at least not as a #1 overall pick.

Only against Ole Miss, and he was juiced up at the time.

I agree... I wish the Redskins would take him instead of trading up to get Haskins

Sounds like a perfect Brady backup. Ha

Is he accurate though? Don’t know. Asking

my god i would be so happy

my ideal draft is Brown in the first and then we get Grier in the second

We should not be trading away everything to jump the Giants to get Haskins. Esp with the Giants probably not taking Haskins. If we trade up its to get ahead of Miami to get him.
