I'm looking at a stakes race from Vancouver tomorrow. The standout horse is the best in every category by far, but is carrying 129 lbs. The next highest weight is 115. Would you rule out a horse based on weight alone?

Depends on the horse.

They weighed Citation down like he was mule and he still won everything.

Update: 129 lbs was enough to keep it closer but not enough to change the outcome. Favorite paid 2.10 to win
