Georgia would’ve had a closer game... it’s hard to argue UGA was not a top 4 team. This is exactly why we need an 8 team playoff. The final would be Bama/UGA or Bama/Clemson

Bama would have scored 60+ and coasted if Saban would not have started trying to run out the clock late second quarter. He got more players dinged up and injured that way, too.

Well OK has now too. Both played Bama, both recently. Who had a shot to win the game? Hell UGA looked like the better team on the field for 3/4 of that game. Bama dominated this game start to finish.

Most things that I have read have been people's disagreement with ND being in. Not a whole lot of anti-OU

That's impossible because the #1 overall seed was Bama.
And two-loss UGA would have been the #4 seed.
But ESPN lobbied for UGA to be left out. "Bama deserves not to have to play UGA again" they opined.
Where was this opining in 2011 with LSU deserving not to have to play Bama again?
