Hoiberg to the Huskers?

Smoke over the past few days that Hoiberg has been in talks with Nebraska about being the next coach after Miles is fired. If Hoiberg can get the money to hire some quality assistants, I think Nebraska would be a great fit.

He has some distant ties to the program. Born in Lincoln, grandfather was the Husker head basketball coach in the 60s, grew up a Husker fan. Nebraska lacks the history, but Tim Miles got everything a coach could have wanted to establish a winning program.. and didn’t. An athletic dept commuted to turning the program around, brand new NBA style arena, rabid fan base to fill the new arena, almost every game on television with the Big 10 network.
