Still think Dwyane Wade is a better scorer than Klay? Wade can’t shoot like this, dumb arse.

Wade can definitely miss three in a row.

I'm not lester but careerwise, wade is 2.5 points per game better (22 vs 19.5). In fact Klay only has 2 seasons with a better average than D Wade. But Klay is lights out better beyond the 3 point line making his eFG% better than D Wade even though his FG% isn't.
On most teams I'd take Wade in his prime over Klay in his (which I guess is right now). On a team like the warriors, I'd probably take Klay.

To be fair...Les also argued that hitting a shooter's arm can affect accuracy after the ball has already left their hand, so I would take his posts with a grain of salt at all times.

Uhh, yeah, Wade is a better scorer. Wade was the #1 option on his team and defenses would game plan specifically to slow him down night after night.
Wade averaged 30.2 points and 7.5 assists per game at his peak.
Klay is the 3rd option on a team with two MVP players in their prime. And he’s mostly a 3-point shooter. It’s much easier to get off open looks from 3 when you are the 3rd option on a team with two MVP’s being the main focus of the defense.

This is true though...
ETA: at least I think so. I might be regretting this take soon

Lester Earl’s whole shtick is to intentionally be obtuse and troll other posters... Your thread is exactly what he wants.

southpaw07 I highly doubt you have the gumption nor the impetus to hoe a row in Lester Earl’s shoes.

He’s the best on the board because I can’t tell most of the time if he truly believes his arguments or he’s screwing with people.

Huh?
How can hitting a player affect the accuracy once the ball has left your hand?

To be fair, when Klay was the 2nd option he averaged 22 PPG (pretty much the same as now) while maintaining a 43% 3pt percentage. So its not to say he needs them both.
I love Klay as a player, but like many on here agree, he is not the best scorer. He is the best robin in the league by far.
He can knock down shots
He can pass
He can defend
He does not need the ball to be effective
