Out of curiosity, would you have taken Peyton Manning over Carson Palmer in 2015?

Not in anyway saying Brady is playing near as bad as Peyton that year. Just curious in your answer

Ok, so let’s say you have a team playing against a playoff team tomorrow, and you need a QB... your options are:

Dakota Prescott OR
Thomas Brady

You need to win one game, who are you going with?

Honestly, this year, I would still take Brady.

But man something doesn’t look right or add up with his play

Top 5 playoff QBs and has mahomes on the list. I wasn’t aware mahomes had started a playoff game.

I am fairly certain he was listing the QBs he would take for the playoffs this year

So Brady at 41 still puts up better regular season stats than Dak at 25. Given the choice I’m rolling with Brady over Dak in a game of any significance every day of the week and twice on Sundays.

That's a bad comparison because...

Brady's decline is real, but we're here nitpicking numbers between him and Prescott. Unless you can show me a stat which indicates the gap is greater between than two than I'm asserting, I'm taking Brady. This decision only gets easier when you consider we are now in the playoffs.

I only asked because you said

I don’t care what number is by their name
But it seems you in fact do somewhat

Not being a smartass, there are some people that literally wouldn’t care at all

What I meant was that I don't care about the numbers, seeing as how close they are. But you knew that.

I figured that is what you meant

But there are people, plenty of people, that beleive in playoff voodoo and would take a clearly past his prime legend over one that is playing at a current high level

Good lord, this is a horrendous comparison. Dak this year in no way, shape, or form compares to Carson Palmer in 2015. Palmer had an amazing year.

Comparing this Brady to that Manning is pathetic too. Everyone and their mother knew Peyton was done. Brady obviously had a down year by his standards, but he was not one of the worst QB's in the NFL this year.

Never once did I make the comparison

I even said literally I want making that a comparison

I brought it up because the poster said “no numbers” would make him pick Dak over Brady

Hence, why I brought up a year Palmer had far better numbers than Peyton

I am just wondering what I have said outrageous?

I simply posted Brady and dak had similar seasons. No more, no less
