dan looks stronger than what i expected. but that defranco guy saying that he deadlifts 500 pounds isnt fully correct. using the shrug bar is much easier than using a barbell with 500 pounds. plus that was 360 with 120 pounds of chains which although makes it harder at the top but if you have enough acceleration its not that bad when lifting the weight.

I don't think they will. I think they'll shuffle them to the next card if Alves passes tests. That really sucks. That was one of the fights I was most excited for.
I'm not a big Shields fan. i can't see him doing anything in a stacked 170lb UFC lineup. I'd start him off with Swick/Kampman. I had bigger hopes for Conduit who hasn't looked that great these days. I think Shields would do even worse at 185 in the UFC.

it's smart but that's not what the fans want to see. i wanna see Cain/JDS fight and not sit on the shelf for 6 months plus.
