nah harden allows the fewest points per post up possession of any player in the league. And he has done it for the last few years.

Yes but we don't put him on their best post players. PJ always has the tougher assignment and is the better defender let's not get carried away. Harden is really good in the post tho.

That is wrong. He defends more post up than any other player In The league. Houston welcomes harden to switch into a big bc it baits the opponent into thinking their big can score on him. They can’t.

That is frequency of possessions. Harden plays more minutes than everyone. So his % will be lower. Post up possessions defended per game, he is now 3rd. of player who defend more than .5 post ups a game, literally none of them have a better fg% allowed or points per possession. Harden defend 1.7 post up possessions per game.

B don’t look at the numbers every day. He is 99 percentile regardless. And no one is really close to him on a per possession basis unless you looking at guys who defend 3x less possessions.
You taking a guy shooting 9 3s at 40% all day over someone shooting 3 at 42%. Same logic applies here. He is the leagues dominant post defender and scorer.
