Nick Saban has first round draft picks hobbling around on the field catching passes up three scores

Machine

ETA: Alabama also had like 1 Covid case all season. How did he either keep the players in check or figure out how to avoid testing and contract tracing? Has everything down to a science

Way too much smiling and gesticulating. If he’s going to be happy then he should just retire. That was terrible.

Sooner or later y’all are going to realize the guy is a good person and the best coach of all time

The only time you see Saban smiling is after winning a NC.

Tomorrow he'll be back to yelling and scowling.

Word has it that a very large part of the roster actually had COVID over the summer. Not sure how accurate that is but it would explain the low cases during the season.

I think he really liked this team and the guys on it and their character and all that shite.

Same thing he felt about the 2003 LSU and 2012 Alabama teams.

He reminds me of the old quote about Scotty Bowman:

He’s angry and you hate him 364 days of the year but on the 365th you pick up your ring.

He’s enjoying it now. He is not even close to being done.

It's like seeing your dad cry, it's just weird.

Hell they might have self infected to build immunity. Would be amazing if true.

Brilliant if they did, after all it was only a minor flu.

For young and healthy athletes, it's nothing.

I’ve noticed the last two years that he has been smiling a lot more and seems to be having more fun. That could be real trouble for other teams going forward.

All part of his transition into a post coaching career. Working on his brand.

If true, right up there with him showing red tails the night before the NC against LSU.
