Eastern conference sucks because grown arse men are afraid of Lebron. It is why chicken shite Durant had to join a 73 win team in the West to try to have monumental help to win a championship.

Have we already forgotten that LeBron James and delly took a curry-thompson-green golden State to 6 before? It doesn't matter who golden State has, as long as LeBron James is in the finals, he won't go down in less than 6.

They are equal if not better. Every single player on the Cavs roster can shoot threes except for Tristan Thompson. I wouldn't see why that's funny. With a quick Google search, I found the Cavs have a better 3 point percentage and more 3 pointers made per game than the warriors this year. So they can match the warriors shooting.

In the regular season, GS made 982 3's on 38.3% shooting.
Cle made 1067 3's on 38.4% shooting.

I'm pretty sure the playoffs make you look even more silly.

Yea, CLE is definitely every bit as good from 3 this season compared to GS.

GS separates themselves from CLE by shooting 3.5% better from 2 because of their offensive scheme. 66% of GS's 2 pointers are assisted, compared to 44% for CLE.

I stand corrected.

But I still think GS outshoots them from 3 in the finals.

The stats may have been equal this season, but the Warriors have 3 of the best shooters in the world on their team. My money is on them.

Also, Cleveland shooting 5% better from 3 in the postseason... that doesn't seem borderline fluky to anyone else? That is a massive increase.

Somewhat, yeah, but you have to consider that

- JR, one of their better three point shooters, struggled with an injury for most of the season bringing his numbers down.

- They added Kyle Korver and Deron Williams, both good three point shooters, about halfway through the season.

- Since they're actually playing defense now they're getting more open looks in transition.

LeBron and Love are shooting 46% and 45% respectively which I don't expect they'll sustain. But this team's shooting prowess has never been in question; where they're likely to lose against GS is on the defensive end.

A one seed that would be a 4 seed in the West. GS beat a 2 seed (that would be a 1 seed in the East) by 36.

True, but in relation to what has happened in the playoffs, both teams have had a relatively easy road. They both played .500 teams in the first. They both played teams (with the exact same record) who weren't as good as indicated in the second. While the Spurs are certainly better than the Celtics, without Leonard and Ginobli, you could actually make the case that the Celtics are the tougher opponent.

In the end, the two best teams in the NBA will be in the Finals.

The Spurs wouldn't have finished anywhere close to the 2 seed without Kawhi. GS probably would've lost game 1 had he not gotten injured.

So I could take the Cavs to win the title at +140, or I can take 'the field' in the Warriors vs the field' prop at +190....same sports book. Decisions decisions...
