Gave the "goat team" everything they wanted and had them on the ropes, but the Warriors played championship ball when it mattered and the Rockets didn't. Bottom line. Can't blame officials when you shoot so horrible.

Harden and CP3 played so well all year, Clint played like and all-star, PJ Tucker was a monster and Eric Gordon stepped up big time. 1 game away from the finals hurts, not gonna lie, especially to a team like the Warriors. There have been a lot of Pels fans posting trash shite (I can't imagine having that level of bitterness) but I do respect most of them for being a fan of a team - not following players, not jumping to super teams. In the NBA it's tough being a regular fan, because you never know when your team will get a chance like this again. I'm hoping this makes the Rockets better and they have another run in them. 2nd best team in basketball, but nobody remembers those teams.

Great season, my e-homie.

Wish we could have seen this series with both teams healthy.

It was a good year man, they played tuff even without CP3 in 6 and 7. Hopefully Houston gets Bron next year and the tables will be equal in the WCF

I didn't before this year. I do now.

He can't beat the Warriors by himself dude. LeBron had Kyrie and only won 1 game last year. Harden and Paul were up 3 games to 2 with all the momentum. But without another star it's unfair to expect him to beat a team with 4.

Aging chris Paul that may never be 100% thru an entire season. A star who’s lasting legacy will be his failures. A gimmicky offensive system designed by a perpetual over achieving regular season coach

The rockets window is closed. Done. They will never compete for championships again

get fricked boom

In all honesty, this is kind of the outcome I expected for the Rockets' 2018 season considering they were playing arguably the greatest basketball team of all-time in the de facto NBA Finals this series and it extended to 7 games. That's simply a great season, no dishonor in losing to that legendary a team in the last possible game of the West playoffs you could play and advancing that far. Feel bad for CP3 though, I'm not stupid to use championships or championship amount to diminish or elevate an individual player's legacy (though it helps fasho) but people are gonna use this and others to trash basically the Isiah Thomas of this generation. I think he might literally be the greatest point guard in the history of basketball (at least he has an argument in ways).
