Sounds like he did not quit on the team to me. His parents made the decision for him.
At least he didn’t fake lead like half the guys that showed up, halfass played and then quit halfway through the season.
The entire culture around that team and coaching staff was just god awful and it literally had nothing to do with Chase not being there.

Truth be told. I almost feel like that was a typo. I think it was supposed to say he had “never” seen Joe like this before.
Grats on beating Joe when his shoulder was separated though.
Y’all should win every game y’all play given your recruiting, so it’s weird to beat your chest about beating a young team with an injured Burrow.
