I will be in Dallas and going to this game. Any suggestions on where to sit or anything else? Should we take Uber/Lyft or use public transit to get there? Coming from the Gaylord Texan Resort.

First pitch is at 7:05 pm CST. I know it is the evening, but I would still prefer to sit in the shade. Probably looking at $10 or so seats as I am going with a group.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Just Uber to the game. Not that far

Sit on the first base side. 300 Level will be good seats. Look on stubhub

Upper level infield if you want some shade and cheap seats. Allow 45 minutes+ for traffic. Parking's easy and Uber is the only other option.

If Arlington had a DART rail from Dallas and other suburbs attendance would be much better for the Rangers, but I digress.

It's a nice experience at the ballpark. Too bad they're tearing it down.

Uber

Also, when I go, I buy the cheapest seats I can find then just hang out in the standing room areas out in centerfield.

I have never had a cheaper seat than when I went to a Rangers game. Well worth the hassle of getting out to that part of Arlington.

Get a rental car. Public trans is shite and you’re a 30 min drive from everything

Edit: if boozing strong just Uber

No clue what an uber from Gaylord will cost, but it I know from Dallas proper it’s like $50 one way.

My season tickets were in RF in the lower deck beneath the porch and they were great. No sun, good concessions around and you may get to see some balls land around you.

Don’t sit in left field. Looking directly into the sun for an hour.

Public transit does not exist in Arlington. I have tickets to that game interestingly enough.

Take an Uber early and post up at one of the bars before the game. This avoids surge charges and traffic. Traffic going south on 360 from grapevine is not great. Go to one of the hotel bars afterwards (Hilton is my suggestion) and get a drink afterwards and then get Uber back
