It’s almost impossible to even watch and enjoy the game with his constant interruptions and think he’s a know it all.
I don’t think I’ve ever hated an announcer as much as I despise him.

He is pretty terrible when you consider that CBS casts him as a marquee color analyst.

He’s deteriorated the last 3-4 seasons but people act like he’s always been bad.

You can watch some of his games but watching an Alabama game is insufferable.
You have to watch it on mute.
It used to be just his poms-poms in the booth.
Now he gets stuff totally wrong and says the opposite of the obvious on replays. Player makes an obvious catch against Alabama and Gary's like "did he have possession? I don't know, that is close."

Yeah Bama has been the lead dog for years and CBS gets the Bama game. They’ve been rolling a long time. Is he supposed to be critiquing them left and right after years and years of seeing Bama smoking teams?

I'll admit I don't pay too close attention to what the announcers say but when I see threads like this, I always wonder if I missed something egregious. I watched the first half and didn't hear him say anything too terrible.

Gary doesn’t have his fastball anymore. He’s serviceable but the SEC deserves better probably.
Each passing year his outlandish comment counts are increasing. This year it has been noticeably worse.
