you're right, it had nothing to do with the Dallas D.

It will effect them A LOT more IMO if they lose game 3.

I never said that.

You said Wade was forced to shoot a 3, which really wasn't correct.

And whether it worked or not, Miami could have attempted to dribble drive, but they never did. Dallas had a part in that, but most of that is on Miami.

Miami was fighting the shot clock way too much down the stretch, but other players refusing decent shots to give it to LeBron with 3 seconds left on the clock on 2 consecutive possessions and 3 of 4 certainly hurt more.

either way, there was a switch between marion and kidd that frustrated wade, which forced him to take that 3. their defense down the stretch was great, and to say that it wasn't is just wrong. the mavs d and hustle overall is what won the game.

they surely stepped it up from what they were doing previously

it's just the fact that lebron/wade didn't even try to take it to the goal that's troublesome

if wade and lebron try to take it to the hoop, dallas cannot stop them unless them commit all 5 guys to stopping it

Not on those final 2 bad looks Lebron shot,b ut that did happen a few times where Lebron was given the ball almost near halfcourt with :05 on the shot clock.

It was ugly all around in the final 7 minutes.

This.

I still don't get why they ALWAYS pick and roll, it just becomes more cluttered.

Just let bron/wade go one on one, they can't be guarded. They'll either get fouled, make a shot or dish for an open look on most occassions.

the best was the possession where lebron dribbled the clock down to 2 and shot a contested 3

they got the offensive rebound and haslem dribbled the clock down and dished it to lebron well beyond the arc with 3 on the shot clock

how do you at least not have some sense of urgency to get a decent shot when you're already reeling offensively and the other team is scoring nearly every possession?

Louie just said that they didn't pick and roll

And Bosh killed them at least 2 times in the last 3 minutes.

That was at 90-90.

Then they gave up the easy layup.

That was an awful stretch. I don't know that the ball was ever dribbled inside the 3pt arc(other than after the rebounds were gotten).

Could be wrong, but I think he meant the Bron/Wade pick and roll specifically.

Out of the timeout at 90-86, I can't believe they went Iso with Bosh. He turned it over. Granted, the way Lebron played when he had the ball, it probably wouldn't have mattered lol.

They did, I believe.

But it was that soft picka nd roll where there isn't even an attempt to really make a move. I don't get why teams do that.
