Fury vs Wilder 1, this is what boxing is now?
Holy hell, both of these guys are garbage. Heavyweight boxing has fallen on hard times.

I fully admit I haven't watched boxing, especially heavyweight in awhile.

These guys are talentless hacks compared to champs of past.

You don't know anything about boxing.

There's literally four, maybe five groups of years where the division had more than two great fighters in their prime.

This group is one of them.

Late 80's to late 90's another.

You have to back almost twenty years from there for another.

Yep

Fury, Wilder and AJ

Ruiz if he gets it back together and throw Whyte in there as well. People are ducking Whyte big time.

The countdown to Fury v Wilder 2 has got me actually liking Wilder

Hell, Ortiz too. Hes old, but still a very good fighter.

Because they are not sure if he'll pass the piss tests.

If Wilder hits you or I with that punch that he hit Fury with, we are probably dead. Deontay has prodigal power to the likes of Iron Mike, Sugar Ray Robinson, Marciano, and Liston. Technically, he is not as good of a boxer, but he really does not have to be. On the other hand, Fury is a very good boxer with pretty damn good defense, and is as tough as nails. The place that separates both is their massive length and height. Fury does not look the part, but that does not mean he is not extremely good.

Look at some of the hacks that Mike Tyson and Holmes faced in some of early to Mid Eighties-some were far from impressive boxers.

I think this is a resurgence in excitement that we have not seen in Heavyweight boxing since the late nineties. Klitschko was obviously very good, but did not face a lot of big names.

Also, Fury jumped into the fire by immediately coming back after severe weight loss and life bouts so he was not exactly in seasoned form. However, it will be interesting to see if he can dodge the big shot this time because in a technical since, there is no question he outboxed Wilder. Jmo

I'm convinced Wilder's right hand will put down any man on the face of this earth.

Is this a fricking joke? Are you really serious with this comment?

Wilder, while "wild" (pun intended), is unbelievably quick and if he lands that one punch, goodnight. His power is ureal. Fury is like the Cal Ripkin of boxing. He can do it all.
