richt and les miles are in their own category of poor decision making coaches. Its uncanny really that we can joke pregame about how some ridiculous shite will happen and richt will lose and it happens. The fact he had the ability to onside kick and didnt is just icing on the cake. Canes fans are in for alot of pain, my fiancee is a UGA alum and shes at the hospital working now but i texted her that richt blew it again and she said " shocker"

That's why the onside kick always makes sense in these situations. Having a shot at recovering the kick is better than playing the field position game imo
