re: Fox pregame show beat ESPNs Gameday this week
I’ve watched it a couple times and if you want actual football analysis it is superior. Urban and bush are very good. One singular set as far as I could tell there wasn’t jumping all around to these side shows like gameday.

With that said they push big ten and 12 hard right now and gus Johnson is the absolute worst.

GameDay needs to be a 1.5 hour show. There's so much crap on the show that I don't care about. I no longer watch it except for the last 20 minutes now.

If the SEC has to play their game of the week at 11 I think the entire fanbases of every school would riot. That's your shit, not ours.

I've enjoyed being able to flip between Game Day, SEC Nation, and the Fox Show.

I like having the variety. And I like that there are new voices on the Fox Show that haven't become stale like Game Day.

As much as I like Corso, it's time for him to hang it up. And everyone else on the show just sucks.

Yeah, I have no idea how Desmond Howard has lasted this long.

I could shave off an easy 20 minutes with the weekly Ronaldi sob story that nobody wants to watch.

Big Noon should always beat GameDay simply b/c it's on network TV while GameDay is on cable. Not sure this is really that big of a deal. The more interesting numbers to see would be how Gameday's ratings have held over a multi year period.

All I know is it's time to get rid of CBS
Games flow so much better on ESPN and ABC and even FOX
No reason for the length of games on CBS due to all the breaks

Just like the NFL the Fox broadcast sucks for college. I don’t know exactly what it is but it’s horrible. Someone said lifeless which describes it well. CBS blows Fox away for both the NFL and College broadcasts.

The SEC on Fox would be interesting. Especially since a lot of those dudes on that network are anti-SEC.

Definitely CBS. It would be blasphemy to hear their lead music for a 2:30 kickoff instead of the SEC on CBS music.

I know a lot of people that watch SEC Network coverage instead of Gameday in the Southeast. ESPN kind of cannibalized their own market with that show.

This is absolutely true too.

frick THAT shite. People would lose their minds. 11 AM in the SEC is reserved for the shitty Jefferson Pilot type games

To be fair, I think the primary reason why Fox has their "Big Noon Kickoff" is that CBS always has the largest viewing audience in the late afternoon time slot and ESPN/ABC are the preferred networks for primetime games. They don't want their best games to go head-to-head against those networks so that leaves noon as really the only time slot where they are able to maximize their audience. That won't be an issue if they get the SEC package.

Hate watching their broadcast. I don't know if it's the voices but I feel like I'm watching a monster truck rally rather than a football game.

Gus Johnson just isn’t good. And Joel Klatt is probably the biggest idiot in the CFB broadcasting game.

It also helps that late in the year, it's easy for big time Big Ten games to be at 11am since they don't play night games.
