You're right, management should have assumed an all out revolt would happen, and acted accordingly.

I was just pointing out there are flaws in the logic of "if the wheel ain't broke, don't fix it" mindset.

The writing on the site absolutely changed over the last several years. It was must read for me for a long time, but over time I found myself going to the site out of habit, but not enjoying the writing as much, to not going to the site at all.

The appeal was some of the stuff that didn’t stick to sports, but if you couldn’t tell the writers all started to shift to liberal activism to the point where every other story was about promoting an agenda, then you just didn’t want to see it.

Yeah, that’s made up agendas pushed by these writers. 98% of sports fans don’t give a shite about politics mixed with their sports

I like how they said they dumped the MNF halftime concert in favor of more analysis.

Then last night the halftime show was an extended commercial for Disney+ followed by an extended commercial for ESPN+.

I'll say upfront that there are plenty of reasons to dislike the GOP/conservatives in 2019 America

At this point, is there? I mean other than too cowardly to call out progressives with appropriate disdain?

They didn’t have to stick entirely to sports, but the number of articles not directly tied to politics should have been some number much higher than zero. I think the past 5 years the only thing that stayed sane was Drew’s mailbag (mostly).

Just amazed that sports journalist that I grew up reading had no problem "sticking with sports" but these little woke twats continually interject their politics into EVERYTHING.
