Tebow is fascinating for one simple reason: despite obvious shortcomings he continually produces the desired outcomes.

7 out of 12 of their drives went 3 and out.

Only 3 of their 12 drives went for more than 20 yards.

They started 5 drives in New York territory last night. Total points from those possessions? A whopping 3.

Yeah and he produced the desired outcome: a win.

You just made my point.

I'm not looking for you to tell me anything. You come across as an angry little douche the minute someone disagrees with you. You've never been wrong about anything.

No one is saying that he's put the Broncos on his back, but there is no question that he has given them a better chance to win than Kyle Orton.

false and I've never claimed otherwise.

yep, i a game with 21 other starters, that's the only possibilty because they changed that one position. But that's not exactly saying much, Orton may have made plays that cost them games early, I don't know. That doesn't mean Tebow is why they are winning.

Pretty sure Craig Krenzel is still unbeaten as a starter.

That's cute and funny, but you do understand the game is a lot differnt today than it was in 1983. Different offenses, different rules that benefit the offense, but don't let that mess up your narrative.

Might want to check what "Elway's record" was in 1984, his second year as a starter though.

i respect Tebow, but i dont think he has what it takes to be an NFL starting QB over the long haul.

I watched the last 3 quarters, and honestly i didnt see 1 good pass. He was bouncing throws, overthrowing passes, most of them were not even close.

with that being said, Sanchez handed Denver the game with the pick 6. People forget that. Tebow had a great drive at the end, but they really shouldn't have even been in the game.

What happens when Denver actually plays a good offense that will outscore them by 2 possessions? How will Tebow respond when he HAS to air it out? Does anyone remember his start against detroit a few week ago? It was ugly.

I know he is in the AFC west and the teams are not very good, espeically on offense, but he wont play OAK and KC every week from here on out. and QBs wont giftwrap games like Mark Sanchez did last night

Tebow "being 4-1 as a starter" really bothers some of you folks.

nah, giving QB's credit for team record is what bothers us.

Funny that you say it was "different" cause the very next year Elway didn't exactly set the world on fire (he had some pretty damn ugly games) but they managed to win 12 games. He had FOUR games with over 200 passing yards at a starter in 1984. FOUR! Think about that for a minute.

NOW, go to 1985 and what do you see? He had ONLY FOUR GAMES where he DIDN'T throw for more than 200 yards. You seeing a pattern here yet?

Fact is, Tim's stat's look eerily similar to Elways early on. I mean, without the wins.

In Elways 8th game as a pro: 147 yards passing, 0 TD's, 3 int's and 50% completion.

Not exactly impressive right? Sure as hell isn't impressive as what Tebow managed last night.

What i said was different was the offenses and rules. check out the avg QB in 84,85 vs the avg QB in 10 and 11 and you will see Elway was better relative to his era than Tebow is to his. But hey, don't let anything get in the way of your narrative.

I just don't understand how Tim was supposed to perform well last night.

He was in 3rd and long situations all night (I think every 1st down play was a run up the middle for minimal to no gain). He had the best cover corner taking away his best (by default) receiver and a pretty decent corner taking away his pretty average second option. Who was he supposed to throw the ball to?

Tebow is not a terrible quarterback. He helps his team win games. Will he turn out to be a good quarterback, who knows? But at this point, Tebow has proven to not be "an embarrassment".

This is what pisses people off. Considering the lack of talent at the WR position Tebow should be losing in an embarrassing fashion weekly.

His accuracy is weak, but his intangibles and intelligence allows him to be successful enough to win.
