if the situation were reversed TD.com would be howling about free speech and political correctness run amok.
but y'all agree with it this time so it's okay
y'all really are disgusting

player blackballed for espousing far right ideology

I gotcha. Maybe. But luckily we only have to deal with Kaepernick.

I'm sure it's been addressed over the last 8 pages, but the OP is clueless about the meaning of bkackballed. There is no collusion to keep him out of the league.
However, it is undeniable the combination of media circus and lack of talent is keeping him unemployed.
If he wants to play this year, he either needs to get much better oruch quieter.

Many would, you're right. Curt Schilling is a good example.
That said, there are a few reasonable folks here who understand free speech and what hot takes will do to your career.

He's not a good enough quarterback to outweigh the negative shite he brings by trying to be a fricking activist on gamedays. This isn't rocket science.

he's blackballed because he is a distraction and not very good.
If Brady or Antonio Brown was doing the same fricking thing the Pats and Steelers would find a way to overlook it.

I agree.
I disagree with the posts that compared this situation to Tebow. Tebow was loved by the fans, but not talented enough to be worth the distraction. Kaep isn't loved by the fans. Fact is, guy took a stand and then failed to take action to back it up--I mean by failing to vote--which showed that he lacks character, is not a team player, and isn't motivated by a desire to create positive change.
Lacks character, lacks talent, lacks leadership skills. Not what the GM is looking to see on a QB resume.

Plus he doesn't take what the franchise gives him when he OPTS OUT OF HIS SAN FRAN CONTRACT A YEAR EARLY, what a dummy and Shanahan's gonna revive the West Coast attack he played with under Harbaugh.
