Mark Jones is a nerdy Canadian Black guy. He’s never had any street cred and desperately wants to prove he’s not a cornball brotha. He’s trying to sound “cool” by supporting all this stuff and talking like a teenager. Listening to him try to drop forced slang / hip hop references during broadcasts is embarrassing and cringeworthy.
It’s not really who he is. He’s insecure about not being “black enough” and he’s overcompensating with all this nonsense.

Does anybody really believe this guy worries about the police shooting him because of his skin color? And does anybody really think they would? It’s absurd.
Every one of these cases of the police shooting a Black person, they had either committed a violent crime or were in the process of committing a violent crime when they were shot and killed by police. Whether it was Brianna Taylor’s drug-dealing boyfriend who shot a police officer, or the guy in Atlanta that fought the cops and used his taser against one of them, or Blake in Kenosha who fought off cops and went for a knife, or Michael Brown who robbed a store and fought a cop and tried to take his gun, etc.
No cop is looking to shoot nerdy Mark Jones just because he’s Black. And spreading that trash is harmful to the youth of society who will listen to someone like Mark Jones and believe it. He’s filling their heads up with nonsense that will lead to hatred.
