What in the world is going on with this crowd volume ? It's so loud you can't even hear the broadcast. Turn down that crowd mic , who producing this game. I hope they take care of this problem before the LSU vs Clemson game..

ESPN -- Not CBS , my bad

To answer the question, it seems that the louder the announcers talk, the more will listen.

They want you to watch the commercials.

Over compensating for a light crowd. Trying to make it seem like the stadium is full.
