This season looks really hard to predict. Chelsea looks like an early favorite, but considering who Liverpool, Man U, and Arsenal lost, it really is hard to predict how the top four will look.

This was just a selling summer for a lot of the big clubs to help ease a bit of the massive debt they all carry with them. Very difficult to say what will play out ON the pitch. I agree, that they could finish in any order.

I like the Fulham pick at #5.

Just a few views as the coming season begins to dawn over the horizon.
Portsmouth could be in for a fricking world of pain. If they don't keep selling players they can't balance their books, and if they don't balance the books they might end up with a points deduction. Their potential takeover seems dead in the water. The squad is barely good enough to stay up as it is. Hull and Stoke are trying really hard to strengthen.
I like what Sunderland are doing, being a keen admirer of both Reid and Bent (not cos they both played for Charlton or anything), but also like the signing of Da Silva.
I think what Man Utd lose most with Ronaldo, is that beautiful style of counter-attacking play they've been honing for years. Replacing Ronaldo and Tevez with Owen and Valencia is only going to work out if Owen stays fit.
I'm really looking forward to some of the young players getting chances this year, particularly Wilshire, Rafael and Fabio, Eagles, Delfounso, Di Santo and there are more that I can't remember.

it'll be interesting to see what he can do at Blackburn

I'd be shocked to see United pull 4 in a row after the loss of CR & Tevez and only signing three players in the off-season (one of which is an injury waiting to happen). But who am I to question Fergie?
FWIW, I don't see them finishing below 4.
I see that Chelski is the popular pick to win the title...should be interesting.
What I'm really looking forward to is Real in major melt down mode when they don't win La Liga after spending all that cabbage
Here's to football & footie starting new seasons...

with Pelligrini as manager, not to mention one of the sickest midfields in the world (Ronaldo, Kaka, Alnso, Raul), I have a hard time believing they wont be neck-in-neck with Barthalona

I agree. It's almost not even fair...should be interesting to see how they all work together or not.
Nonetheless, I'll be pulling for Barca
