I still remember watching the UK comeback at LSU. Reminded me never to give up in a game. Was an amazing last 15 minutes.

Still can't figure out how Dale Brown let that happen.

I mean, 31 was obviously the biggest margin, but it's not like he was any stranger to having those kind of games.

If I have to explain to you how a UK team overcame a Dale Brown-coached LSU team’s 31 point lead at the PMAC surpasses Drexel vs Delaware in the context of COLLEGE BASKETBALL, you are literally too stupid to respond to

34 > 31. It doesn't matter who was playing.

Huh? This was the largest comeback in d1 history. 17 pt comebacks happen all the time in football. Are you high?

Seriously, his was one of the dumbest comparisons I’ve read on here in a good while.

Tramaine Isabell posted a double-double and made two free throws with 2.2 seconds left to give Drexel a 34-point comeback win over Delaware Thursday night for the largest come-from-behind win in the history of Division I basketball.

I had Drexel -3

LOL, i chalked it down as a loser at half. They were down 27? at half. Then when they cut it 2 12, i said to myself, damn them for that bad first half. Then laughed as they came back to win, and not cover.

Wow, they caught them and tied game with 3:50 left in 2nd half.

This is a numerical fact.

By the numbers, yeah.

Biggest? No. We're still talking about LSU and Kentucky 30 years later

Never thought of it this way, but you're right.

17 is the biggest comeback in football history.

Hell, coming back from 17 in football today would be like coming back from ~9 down 40 years ago.

The 2006 Michigan State vs. Northwesternfootball game featured the biggest comeback in NCAA Division 1-A history. The Spartans rallied to score 38 unanswered points to beat the Wildcats 41–38 after falling behind 38–3 with 9:54 left in the 3rd quarter.

While I realize 34 is larger than 31, that Kentucky comeback was epic. A 31-point deficit with 15 minutes left should be insurmountable, especially on the road. And especially in Baton Rouge on Fat Tuesday in a fully-lubricated PMAC.

Who cares? Drexel and Delaware are basically irrelevant in the grand college basketball scheme, 24 years ago Kentucky overcame a 31 point deficit against LSU a Division I team coached by Dale Brown at the PMAC to win,

I was a Jr. in H.S. The night before that game was played we (Ellender High School) coached by former LSU Tiger Ernie Brown travelled to Glen Oak HS to play in a 3rd round playoff game against Lester Earl and Corey Johnson. We were just about to tip off when Rick Pitino and Dale Brown walked into the gym and watched the whole game. We took Glen Oaks to double OT that night but lost. Our tallest player was 6-3, they had 2 at 6-9 and one at 6-6, All 3 of them went onto play Div 1 ball. We had 1 player that went onto play at USL a few years later, Orlando Butler. Best HS game I've ever seen played.

Lsu once blew a 31-point lead with 15 minutes to play, at home.
